The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is a private membership-based non-profit organization that promotes sustainability in buildings design, construction, and operation.
USGBC is best known for its development of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating systems and its annual Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building. USGBC was one of eight national councils that helped found the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC).
Eosis is a member of this organization since September 2008.
Our organization became an honoree on the Best for the World 2018. Having scored the top 10 percent of all Certified B Corps on the Environment category was thanks to the synergy with LEED, being the presenting company own office one of first 10 spaces in North America certified as LEED® ID+C: Commercial Interiors, V4, Platinum level, and currently under process for the LEED® O+M: Commercial Interiors, V4.1.

Green Building Drinks is a networking event that has the goal to promote good practices of sustainable architecture and to encourage the linking of services and sustainable products among attendees.
Is aimed to developers, contractors architects and engineers able to specify aterials and technologies who intend to implement good management practices that encourage sustainable performance of their projects.
Is expected that by giving the proper information to whom is currently designing and building, environmental performance will increase.
This award aims to recognize and spread outstanding sustainable architecture due to its social and environmental performance.
The Greek letter η is used to measure the thermal transmission among materials and other applications, therefore it was selected as the most appropriate to represent the intention of this award.
