Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) factors are criteria for socially responsible investors.
These factors consider investment within a study and analysis evaluation for environmental sustainability, with special emphasis on climate change, and global awareness of the social criteria for a diversification of human capital, such as the management of opportunities, working conditions and health safety.
They also manage the corporate means in the management of companies to reduce or eradicate industry corruption, bribery or tax enforcement issues.
Investors use ESG data to monitor their investments, interact with their managers and make decisions that lead to a more sustainable and resilient real asset industry.

Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB)
The Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) is the environmental, social and governance (ESG) benchmark for real assets. It works collaboratively with industry to provide standardized and validated ESG data in the capital markets.
GRESB’s assessments are guided by what investors and the industry consider to be material issues in the performance of sustainability of investments in real assets, and are aligned with international reporting frameworks such as the recommendations of GRI, PRI, SASB, DJSI, TCFD, the Paris Climate Agreement, UN SDGs, guidelines and disclosure regulations specific to each region and country.
Investors use GRESB’s ESG data and analytical tools to monitor their investments, interact with their managers, and make decisions that lead to a more sustainable and resilient real asset industry.
GRESB validates, rates and compares ESG performance data, providing business intelligence and engagement tools to investors and managers.
